For Immediate Release: June 13, 2017
Contact: Marisa Vette, 651-407-7695, marisa.vette@isd624.org

The White Bear Lake Area School District is pleased to announce that Don Bosch has been chosen to serve as the new White Bear Lake Area High School - South Campus principal, a position that will be vacated when current principal Tim Wald steps into the role of Assistant Superintendent on July 1, 2017.

Bosch has served as principal at White Bear Lake Area High School - North Campus since 2009. Prior to that time, Mr.Bosch served in assistant principal and activities director roles at Forest Lake Area High School. Early in his career, he taught mathematics in the Anoka-Hennepin School District and in the Kern School District (California).

During his time in White Bear, he has worked with White Bear Lake Area High School staff members to effectively communicate with staff, students and families. He has led new and challenging initiatives such as the North Campus Promise Fellows program, 9th Grade Academy and Equal Opportunity Schools.

"Among his many leadership qualities is Mr.Bosch's solid reputation among staff members, students and parents as a building leader who makes it a point to be present," said incoming superintendent Dr. Wayne Kazmierczak. "We look forward to him bringing this value and his many other valuable skills to our South Campus."

Bosch will stay at the helm at White Bear Lake Area High School - North Campus through June. The district will soon begin a hiring process for the North Campus principal position.
